Most women would like to improve the size, lift and firmness of their breasts. Breast implant surgery can be expensive, unless you travel overseas to Thailand.
The snake-oil pills and bizarre contraptions available promise everything but deliver nothing except broken promises. Exercises to develop and tone the muscles of the chest can improve the lift and firmness of breasts and may have a small effect on size.
Improve Your Breast Naturally
A woman’s breast is an asset and a symbol of beauty and femininity. However, often the natural progression of life leads to the inevitable sagging breasts. This unfortunate fact is due to aging, smoking, pregnancy, and excessive exercise. Although older women are the most common victim, but younger women are not exempted.
Women with contemporary lifestyle, increasing number of young women are falling a prey to it. While you cannot battle against the nature, you can prevent excessive and premature breast sagging by incorporating these natural tips:
Wear Proper Fitting Bra
One of the most common reasons for sagging breasts is an ill-fitted bra. It is very crucial for you to pick a correct size bra, as it keeps the breast in shape and enhances its overall beauty. After wearing the bra, make sure that your breasts are not bouncy. When the straps become lose, either tighten them or replace the brassiere. If you are not aware about your proper bra size, consult a professional and have your size properly measured. Many branded lingerie store provide this service for free.
To keep your curvy bosoms in shape, apply a moisturizer daily. It will keep the skin supple and help your breasts retain its elasticity. Gently massage your breasts in a circular motion from upside down and vice versa. We even reported about the ancient art of breast slapping massage that claims to increase the size of breasts.
A bad posture can lead to breast sagging. To make your breasts appear firm and lifted, always stand straight with your shoulders pulled backwards, and do not slump when sitting or working. An easy way to perks up breasts is having good posture. When we are standing up straight, belly in, chest out, our breasts will appear firmer and perkier than when we slouch and exhibit poor posture. Think back to when we were younger and a guy we liked walked in the room. The first thing we’d do is sit up straight and thrust out our chest, right? It works the same now as it did back then!
Yoga is a great and fun activity to add that will help strengthen core and back muscles to improve your posture as well.
Maintain a stable weight by exercising regularly and eating a balanced diet. Weight fluctuations such as gaining and losing weight regularly can result in stretches on the skin, which can affect the elasticity of the breast.
Drink at-least eight glasses of water every day to keep your body hydrated. Skin with less water content often becomes wrinkled and saggy.
While, sagging breasts can leave you worried and less-confident, remember it is generally healthy and perfect breasts that only need a little support to look beautiful and feel great.
Anything in excess is bad, and so is excessive exercise. Cut down on large amounts of workout. Do not jog for extended periods of time and wear a supportive and a comfortable sports bra when engaged in physical activity. The weight of larger breasts can lead to stretching of the skin followed by drooping breasts. When exercising make sure you are doing the right exercises that help you accomplish your overall fitness goals.
Exercises To Improve Breasts
The tissues of the breast sit on top of the muscles of the chest. The primary muscle of the chest is the pectoral muscle. The pectoral muscle can be divided into an upper, middle and lower division. Developing the lower pectoral muscles is the most effective in enhancing the breast.
Even without emphasis on the lower pectoral muscles, exercising your chest can have positive benefits on your bust line. Presses and pushups help to develop your pectoral muscles. To perform the press, lay flat on the floor or on an aerobics step with weights such as dumbbells at your side. Hold the dumbbells at the sides of your chest and press upward, squeezing your chest muscles inward. Normal pushups will also help, although you can pivot from your knees to make the exercise easier.
Consider switching or adding incline and decline chest presses to work your overall chest muscles.
Decline Press and Fly
The decline press and fly exercises develop the lower subdivision of the pectoral muscle for breast enhancement. To perform these exercises, lie on the floor on a foam ramp or with your rear on an aerobics step so that your hips are higher than your chest. For the decline press, hold the dumbbells at your side and press upward with a slight tilt toward your hips. For the decline fly, hold the dumbbells with your arms outstretched from your shoulders and bring your arms together above your chest, keeping your arms straight.
Isometric Chest Contractions
Contracting the chest muscles without performing a movement can help strengthen and tone the chest. Isometric contractions can also teach you better control of your pectoral muscles. Hold a towel with your arms in front of your chest, slightly bent. Grip the towel, contract your abs and pull your hands away from each other. You should feel an intense contraction in your chest. You can pull the towel in different directions to fully develop your chest.
Push ups are a great body weight exercise to help firm up your breast naturally, and can be done anywhere. Without under-going breast lift surgery, you can simply flop down on your belly and push yourself right back up with your arms. Push ups aren’t the easiest exercise to do, but they will build the muscles behind the breast tissue, giving your breast a bit of a boost forward as the muscle tones and enlarges.
Exercises known as ‘Winging’ firms up your chest muscles. The exercise has you standing with two free weights or dumbbells, one in each hand hanging at your side and then lift them up like you’re a bird trying to flap her wings. This builds a slightly different muscle in the breast area of the chest, behind the breasts, and will help keep breasts from ‘slipping off’ to the side when you lay down.
Arm Resistance Exercises
Perk up Breasts by taking both arms in front of you, make a prayer pose, bringing both hands together, flat palms touching. Press your palms together as hard as you can, and you should feel the muscle in the breast area this triggers. That’s the muscle you want to work to help firm up sagging breasts. Using exercise bands, an exercise bar with resistance, or simple your own arms and hands, you want to press and release your hands together and apart several times while triggering this muscle. You can also pull your arms apart with resistance for the same effect.
